About Me

I started to fly 20 years ago and currently hold FAA single engine commercial pilot license with instrument rating and a private pilot glider license. I am also a Certificated Flight Instructor, Instruments (CFII) and a CSIP (Cirrus Standarized Instructor Pilot). In 2016, I received an EASA (European) private pilot license and in 2017, a South African PPL. We fly a 2007 Cirrus SR22 G3 TN, call sign N823FW, which you can see on my home page.

I teach in JATO Aviation and San Carlos Flight Center mainly at San Carlos and Palo Alto airports for private pilot or commercial license, instrument ratings and tailwheel or high performance endorsements, BFRs and IPCs. I also am available for Cirrus training including Embark program. I owned and flew Cirrus aircrafts since 2005, which gives me an excellent background for teaching in that airplane.

Please visit my Training pages and contact me for transition and recurrent training, BFRs, IPCs, ferry services or if you just have a question about Cirrus. If you are not located in San Francisco Bay Area, I can fly to your location to provide instruction.

For five years, I organized annual COPA trips to Mexico, averaging 20 airplanes traveling south of the border. Please visit the my Travel pages to read about my flying adventures and consider contacting me for advice regarding international travel.

If you would like to schedule time for a lesson or a phone call, please check Google Calendar for my availability. You can use Contact page to send messages.
